Been a while...

Yes, it has definitely been more than a while. Lets hope with the new year there is more activity in this space. A lot has happened since the last post (updates to come later), but nothing as extreme and as fun as this one!

New band - U TWO - coming to a city near you...

They say "Sing as if no one's listening".

Two Indians living in Sweden couldn't keep away any longer from the Swedish influence - which is basically moving one step further to enhance their singing ability.

Though the Swedes are well-known for their singing ability, one wonders whether this act of ours at a Karaoke club was appreciated or not.

But as we say Cheers to Beers and Britney Spears - here are the after effects of that;)

Chris Martin, Will Champion, Jonny Buckland and Guy Berryman will be performing right in front of me and several thousand Swedes on the 7th of November,2005 at Globen Arena in Stockholm.

Looking forward to listening to some of their past hits and personal favorites like The Scientist, Trouble, Yellow, Don't Panic, Clocks as well as tracks like What if, Twisted Logic, Fix You etc. from their latest album X&Y.

Just an Advertisement

Thought some of you might appreciate the subtlety of this ad, done by a Brazilian ad agency, for a lubricating gel (K-Y equivalent) targeting the French market.

They were trying to come up with an ad that is not offensive or tasteless.

The picture looks completely innocent until you notice the details...

Advertising Industry has always intrigued me - unfortutnately I haven't paid as much attention to it as I would have liked to!

Wimbledon Finals - Roger Federer v/s Andy Roddick

It is that day of the year again, when the two best Tennis players on the ATP circuit(at the time), walk on the green turf to give all that they have in order to win the most esteemed title in Tennis: The Championships-Wimbledon!

This year, the clash is between:

Roger Federer - 23 year old Swiss, current World No.1 and defending champion.

v/s

Andy Roddick - 22 year old American, current World No.2 and last yr's Runner-up.

Will Federer defend his title and get a hat-trick at the Championships?

OR

Will it be Roddick's day and Wimbledon will have a new champion?

Who will walk away with a cheque of £630,000 and more importantly raise the Gold-plated trophy?

It's finally happened

Yes, it’s finally happened. I know some of you might be highly surprised and some of you might be happy to see me finally surrender after all that peer pressure from few other nomad friends to join this bandwagon.

It’s taken almost 5 hours, 2 full Tennis matches (French Open women and men’s singles finals), 2 packets of Pringles, a litre of coke and 769 clicks to get this up and running. At this stage I don’t even know what I’ll be posting here and if I'd be able to keep it regularly updated…..ah well, let’s see how it goes.

But for now, I’d appreciate some input from you all for a cool name to this blog – Any suggestions?
